Video Journalism: Body Composting
In 2022, I got the chance to talk to one of the pioneers of the Colorado alternative death care movement, Seth Viddal, about body composting. This form of disposition turns a person's body into fertile soil over the span of a few months, and it was only recently legalized in Colorado.
COVID-19 Audio Story
I made this piece about a party my roommates and I threw right at the beginning of the COVID pandemic in March 2020. Keep in mind that the piece is dated somewhat by how early in the pandemic it came out.
Light Painting Self-Portraits
I tried my hand at some light painting, and I'm pretty happy with how these self-portraits turned out!
There were two sessions: the first, in December 2021 with just me, and the other in March 2022 featuring myself and another person. By the way, the banner photo currently at the top of this website is from the first session!
Media Team at Summer Camp
During the summer of 2021, I worked as a camp counselor/media team member at Camp Towanda in Pennsylvania. Working with a media director and three other counselors, we captured photo and video all summer long of camp activities, plays, traditions, and all-around good times. I shot and logged thousands of photos and hundreds of hours of video, as well as editing both.
The photos here are some of my favorites that I shot throughout the summer. Also attached is one song from our weekly video product, Friday Nite Flix, taken from the Week 4 episode (which runs nearly 20 minutes in full). I chose to include this one because I had a hand in a lot of the editing showcased this week, though my footage and editing appear throughout all episodes of FNF 2021.

I had a fun time producing this music video a few years ago. There are definitely some things I would change if I made it now, though I remain happy with it overall.
